Accessibility Statement

We want everyone in Pomona — and everyone visiting — to be able to use this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to align with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act.

What we do

• An accessibility button (bottom-left of every page) with text sizing, high contrast, link highlighting, a readable font, an option to stop animations, and a larger cursor. Your choices are remembered on this device.
• Full keyboard navigation; press Escape to close the assistant and accessibility panels.
• Color contrast that meets AA ratios, with visible keyboard focus indicators.
• A "Skip to content" link, semantic headings and labeled form fields.
• Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
• Animations are subtle and turn off when your device requests reduced motion.
• Automated axe-core testing across our pages, plus manual keyboard checks.

Known limitations

Some third-party content, like the embedded payment form and external map links, is provided by other companies and may not fully meet our standards. Pomona AI answers are computer-generated and may be imperfect; the same information is available in our directory and guides. Community photos include captions supplied by contributors.

Feedback

If something is hard to use, use our contact form and choose the Accessibility topic. Tell us the page and the problem, and we'll respond within five business days and work on a fix or an alternative way to get the information.
